This Viva Learning 2-hour/2 CE credit class can be applied towards any state dental board's CE requirement for dental continuing education training on the topic of Cultural Competence in dentistry . Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington have enacted state-level CLAS (Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services) legislation requiring cultural competence training for health care providers. 26+ additional states have proposed CLAS legislation, including further expansions in California, Connecticut, Indiana, New Jersey, Oregon and Washington.
